Use of Jamun wood in your house

If a thick piece of jamun wood is placed in a water tank, algae and green algae will not form in the tank and the water will not rot.

Due to this quality of jamun, it is used on a large scale in making boats.

In earlier times, when wells were dug in villages, jamun wood was used at its bottom, which is called jamot.

The recent renovation of Delhi's Nizamuddin Bawdi revealed that even after 700 years, the water sources here have not been blocked due to silt or other obstructions.

According to K.N. Srivastava, head of the Indian Archaeological Survey, the unique thing about this stepwell is that even today the wooden plank on which this stepwell was built is intact. According to Srivastava ji, jamun wood was used as a base at the bottom of most wells and stepwells in North India.

From the health point of view, jamun, rich in vitamin C and iron, not only increases the amount of hemoglobin in the body. It is extremely useful in curing stomach pain, diabetes, arthritis, dysentery, many other digestive problems.

According to a research, anti-diabetic properties are found in jamun leaves, which control blood sugar. In such a situation, diabetes patients will get a lot of benefit by consuming tea prepared from jamun leaves.

First of all, take a cup of water. Now put this water in a pan and boil it well. After this, wash some jamun leaves and add it to it. If you have powder of jamun leaves, then you can boil this powder by adding 1 teaspoon of water. When the water boils well, filter it in a cup. Now you can mix a few drops of honey or lemon juice in it and drink it.
Jamun leaves have anti-bacterial properties. Its consumption helps in stopping the bleeding from the gums and prevents the spread of infection. Jamun leaves can be dried and used as tooth powder. It has astringent properties which help in curing mouth ulcers. The use of decoction of jamun bark is beneficial in case of mouth ulcers. The iron present in jamun helps in purifying the blood.

Jamun wood is not only a good toothpick, but water tasters (Jalsungha) also use jamun wood to smell water.

Every person must keep a piece of jamun wood in the water tank of their house, it does not cost even a rupee and there are only benefits. You just have to bring the jamun wood home and put it in the water tank after cleaning it thoroughly. After this, you will not need to get the water tank cleaned again.

Do you know why jamun wood is put in the bottom of the boat, even though it is very weak..?

Jamun wood is put in the bottom of the boat that takes passengers from one bank to another in various rivers of India. The question is that why the wood of the same Jamun tree which is a home made Ayurvedic medicine for stomach ailments and whose wood is used to make toothpicks that make teeth germ free and strong, is used on the bottom of a boat. That too when the wood of Jamun is very weak. Even the thickest wood can be broken by hand. Because due to its use the water of rivers remains drinkable.

Even after 700 years the wood of Jamun has not deteriorated at the bottom of the Bawdi…

The proof of the miraculous results of the wood of Jamun has been found recently. When the Nizamuddin Bawdi located in the country’s capital Delhi was cleaned, a structure of Jamun wood was found at its bottom. The head of the Indian Archaeological Department, K.N. Shrivastava, told that the entire Bawdi was built on top of the structure of Jamun wood. Perhaps that is why even after 700 years the water of this Bawdi is sweet and the water sources of the Bawdi have not stopped due to any kind of garbage and dirt. Whereas no one cleaned it for 700 years.

If you put Jamun wood in the water tank on your roof, then moss will never form in your water. Water will keep getting purified for 700 years. Your water will get extra minerals and its TDS will remain balanced. That means, along with cleaning our blood, Jamun also cleans the river water and keeps nature clean.

Please always remember that all the kings, princes and currently billionaires around the world who care about their health, drink water in glasses made of Jamun wood.
