The Garam Pani Kund situated 18 km from Mandla city is known for its magical sulphur abundant water Well. Locals believe that water of well was blessed by god Vishnu to cure the people suffered by plague spread in past. Apart from magical water, this place is surrounded with evergreen flora. Indian council of medical research (ICMR) concluded that water in well can cure various skin disease.

Present status of hot water tank -
At present the height of the hot water tank is very high. An iron rod has been installed about 5.5 feet below the top surface of the well. The depth of the pool is very high, so care should be taken while taking a bath here. The water flowing from the pool goes backwards. Iron railings have been installed around the pool and around the island. Since the pool is near the holy river Narmada, therefore fairs are also held here from time to time. People say that bathing in this pool cures skin diseases. The water in the hot water tank is always hot and the water in the back water around it is cold and the taste of the water of these two places is also different.

History of Hot Pani Kund Mandla
Before the construction of Bargi Dam, this place was not as it appears today. Earlier there was neither water around this place nor was the height of the pool so high. Earlier there was a small hot water tank in which hot water used to come out throughout the year. After the construction of Bargi Dam on the Narmada river, this hot water tank was submerged in the back water of Bargi Dam, which was visible only in summer when the water logging of the dam was reduced. After this, with the efforts of the government and the villagers, filling the soil around this pool and giving a well-shaped shape over the hot water tank was brought above the water level of the back water and this pool was given new life. This place is surrounded by dense plants and water on all sides. Some people believe that Lord Parasurama did penance at this place. There is also a small temple near the kund. There are also ancient idols in this temple.

Scientific reasoning about hot water tank -
Scientists argue that there may be sulfur rocks under this place and due to sulfur rocks, the water of this pool remains hot. And due to this water containing sulfur, skin diseases are cured.

Story of Raja Ram mandir Orchha

In the 16th century, King Madhukar Shah of Orchha was a devotee of Lord Krishna whereas his wife queen Kunwar Ganesh was a devotee of Lord Rama. There were always disputes due to this difference.
