Mercury minus 18 degrees.Sheshnag lake frozen due to snowfall and cold


Srinagar Snowfall continues in the hilly areas of Jammu, Kashmir and Himachal. The mercury is below zero in Srinagar, Shimla and other cities. Whereas in the plains, the century has increased in many areas from Rajasthan, Delhi to Madhya Pradesh. The picture is of Sheshnag Lake situated on the pilgrimage route to Amarnath Cave. Due to snowfall there, the valleys are covered with snow. The temperature is minus 18 degrees Celsius. Due to this, Sheshnag Lake has frozen. The lake is considered sacred since ancient times. Situated at an altitude of 11,870 feet above sea level, this lake is 10 km away from Pahalgam.

Story of Raja Ram mandir Orchha

In the 16th century, King Madhukar Shah of Orchha was a devotee of Lord Krishna whereas his wife queen Kunwar Ganesh was a devotee of Lord Rama. There were always disputes due to this difference. Once king challenged the queen that if Rama existed then bring him to Orchha. Queen went to Ayodhya and prayed for 21 days with rigorous penance to lord Rama. When lord Ram doesn't appear after all this, the queen jumps into the Saryu River to end her life. Then after seeing such devotion of devotee.
